Project Management:
Phase 1 ends when the customer has final CAD plans in hand, suitable for permitting, as required, quotes from remodeling contractors & sub-contractors, and estimating quantities of cabinetry, flooring, and countertops. Since Phase 1 operates on a design retainer model, these plans become the personal property of the customer to go forward with as they please. Our clients may be planning to pursue their own contractor or choosing to do-it-yourself. Or they can choose to move forward on their project with Design First (Phase 2).
As some of your neighbors already know, Design First is always accessible as a resource for advice or referrals. We still have our connections in Summit County, as well, and are pleased to help with your primary residence or second home. After the planning and design phase, the actual construction and installation phase begins. Someone will be needed to communicate with the multiple companies involved with the execution of the remodeling process. This phase promises to be not only time consuming but frustrating. As our customer, you can contract with Trip to be your project manager. Along with the accurate set of plans that you will provide your sub-contractors, Trip's 25+ years within the construction industry allows you to rest assured that every detail will be done efficiently and accurately. Your personal time will remain yours and you will be confident that your project is residing with a professional.
